Overnight oats
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp brown sugar or coconut sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1/3 cup yogurt of choice (I use Greek yogurt)
- 1 cup milk of choice (I use almond milk)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Cream cheese drizzle
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese (softened)
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons milk of choice
- pinch of vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl or two jars mix together the oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, brown sugar, salt, yogurt, milk and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and a splash of vanilla extract. Adjust the milk quantity to achieve your desired drizzling consistency.
- In the morning take your jar or bowl out of the fridge. Drizzle the cream cheese mixture over the top of your oats with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.
Notes
- Use rolled oats for a chewy texture or quick oats for a soft texture.
- Customize with toppings or mix-ins like protein powder, fruit, or nuts.
- Chill for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best.
- Adjust sweetness to taste—add more brown sugar or maple syrup if needed.
- Store in small jars with lids for easy grab-and-go breakfasts.
- Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
